Deputy Minister Batusha, together with Mr. Hubert Perr, Head of Cooperation at the European Union Office in Kosovo, visited Stone Castle Vineyards & Winery

As part of the HardhFest 2026, the Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Agon Batusha, together with Mr. Hubert Perr, Head of Cooperation at the European Union Office in Kosovo, visited Stone Castle Vineyards & Winery, within the framework of a project supported by the European Union through the CBC Kosovo – North Macedonia program.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss Rahovec’s potential for further developing its wine industry, wine tourism, and local economy, while highlighting the important role of European Union-supported projects in fostering sustainable development, strengthening competitiveness, and supporting rural development.

For the Ministry of Local Government Administration, these European instruments are an opportunity to more directly link cross-border cooperation with local economic development, supporting businesses and creating new opportunities for citizens and communities.

Such projects prove that cross-border cooperation is not only cooperation between countries, but also a concrete investment in local economies, municipalities and the sustainable development of Kosovo.
