On October 23–24, 2026, the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), in cooperation with the DEMOS project, held a two-day workshop to review and update the indicators for the Municipal Performance Management System (MPMS).
During the workshop, members of the Working Group reviewed the third draft of the indicators, discussed comments and recommendations received from municipalities and central-level institutions, and proposed improvements to the wording of the indicators and their data requirements.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Director of the Department for Monitoring and Local Performance, Mr. Drin Haraqia, commended the commitment and contribution of the Working Group members, emphasizing the importance of continuing the process to improve and finalize the MPMS indicators.
The process will continue with addressing remaining issues, with the aim of preparing the final document for review and approval.
