As a result of coordination between central government and local government, between the local non-governmental organizations and donors, the municipality of Partesh has signed the agreement for finalization of the project for water supply.
The signatories of this agreement, except the municipality of Partesh were also Office of Community Affairs at the Prime Minister and the Community Development Initiative (CDI) in the capacity of implementation partner.
Also, in the capacity of signatory witness of this agreement, were the Ministry of Local Government (MAPL), the Swiss office for cooperation and also regional company "Hidromorava".
The project for water supply in the village of Partes, in the value of 124 thousand euros, has started in 2009 and was funded by the municipality of Gnjilane (44 thousand euros) and by the Office of the Prime Minister for Community Affairs (80 thousand).
At this stage, the project is in final stage and the Office of the Prime Minister for Community Affairs will contribute 50 thousand euros for individual connection of the households in the distribution network and installation of water meters, with the aim to functionalize the water supply system.Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Rifat Krasniqi, on this occasion said that this project, as well as the projects funded directly by MLGA will further facilitate welfare of the citizens of this municipality.

By presenting the priorities that the deputy mayor of the municipality of Partesh has, Mr. Dejan Jocic said that the improvement of infrastructure remains key priority for this municipality. Subsequently, on behalf of the Prime Minister’s Office for Community Affairs, Mr. Srdjan Sentic said that such cooperation will continue in the future and will continually look at opportunities for coordination of activities with various donors operating in Kosovo.
Also, the Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo, Mr. Markus Baeshler said that in the future will be looked at possibilities for realization of similar projects, which are in benefit of citizens.Realization of this project is expected to finish within three months
