The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrović, has talked today with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi with regards to the facilitation of the free movement of citizens of Kosovo.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrović, has talked today with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi with regards to the facilitation of the free movement of citizens of Kosovo.
Upon their agreement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will extend the deadline for re-registration of license plates. Minister Petrović has said:
"Based on the requests of many citizens of the Serbian community who were sent to my address, I have asked Minister Rexhepi to find ways to extend the deadline for re-registration of vehicles.”
Based on this agreement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs following the issuance of the decision on extension of re-registration will inform in written all the offices for the vehicle registration in Kosova with the note that vehicles with Serbian registration plates of the Kosovo cities will not be allowed to drive, but instead they will given 7 days for their re-registration.
