Participants in the meeting were 25 municipal officials for European Integration, representatives from GIZ and representatives from Ministry of European Integration, while from MLGA were these representatives:
Mrs. Rozafa Ukimeraj, Head of Department for European Integration and Policy Coordination; Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Head of Department for Regional Development and Cooperation;Mrs. Venera Kosumi, Head of Division for European Integration.
Mrs. Rozafa Ukimeraj, Head of Department for European Integration and Policy Coordination has opened the meeting; she greeted the participants and thanked them for their participation in the meeting as well as welcomed the presence of the Director of DRDC.
She further emphasized that the training will be held in various areas for NGO-s and MOIE, supported by GIZ. She also stated that after 8 of June, all municipalities of the Republic of Kosova will be visited as regards the process of European Integration.
Present at the meeting were about 25 municipal officials for European Integration.
Mrs. Venera Kosumi has continued the speech, where she made a brief summary of the first quarter report for implementation of ESAP.
She further continued elaborating in details 9 key areas of the report, as: good governance and transparency at the local level, the consolidation of the process of local government reform, partnerships between municipalities and civil society, promotion and protection of human rights, security in municipalities, asylum and migration etc. Mrs. Kosumi has also made the presentation of the questionnaire for the assessment of needs on capacity building for the Municipal Offices on European Integration.
Mrs. Rozafa Ukimeraj, made the presentation of the Strategy on Local Self-Government 2015-2025, where she pointed out that the draft Strategy is finalized in March and is established a Working Group to work in this strategy, chaired by the Secretary General of MLGA and participants from the line ministries, who have given their contribution.
In conclusion, she stated that the steps for implementation of this strategy are: central and municipal team for implementation of this strategy.
Mr. Besim Kamberaj informed the participants for IPA projects as well as programs for cross-border cooperation (CBC).
He further emphasized that the scheme for energy efficiency at schools has finished in two clinics and 63 schools and all windows, doors, facade, roof were replaced etc. He highlighted that, this is one of the largest schemes in the Balkans.
Mr. Kameraj also presented 3 schemes that are directly linked with MLGA.

2. EURED
3. RDA
As well as SME schemes, implemented by IOM in collaboration with MTI.
In addition, the participants took the floor and asked various questions regarding drafting of IPA projects, for the first quarter report, as well as for trainings etc.
At the close of the meeting, Mrs. Rozafa Ukimeraj, Head of DEIPC thanked the attendants for their participation in the meeting.
