Within the work plan to support municipalities in strengthening of the transparency, Ministry of Local Government Administration in cooperation with the OSCE has organized the regional workshops with municipal officials on the topic “Classification of Information and Protection of Personal Data".
In the workshop held in Prizren region have attended representatives of municipalities Suhareka /Suva Reka, Prizren, Malishevė/o , including even representatives from non-governmental organizations at the local level.
In the workshop was discussed about the transparency of the municipalities in the implementation of the law on access to public documents, including the rights and restrictions that are set forth in the Classification of Information and Protection of Personal Data.
Workshop panelists were Mr. Krenar Loshi , Head of Local Government Section, OSBE mission in Kosovo, Mr. Bekim Demiri from the State Agency for Protection of Personal Data, Mrs. Lumnija Demi, Ministry of Local Government Administration and Mrs. Nansi Jasharaj from OSCE..
Activity for the "Classification of Information and Protection of Personal Data", was organized under the project for development of transparency in municipalities, as continuity of implementation of the law on access to public documents has started last year and will continue to be realized in all regions of Kosova.
