Secretary General of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Mr. Besnik Osmani, on May 22, 2014 meet’s Swiss Ambassador in Prishtina, Ms.Krystyna Marty.
Initially, both sides noted the ongoing cooperation between the MALG and the Swiss Embassy, where Secretary General highly appreciated the continued support that Switzerland is providing to promote local governance in Kosovo.
Among other things, they discussed the integration of the four northern municipalities in the legal and constitutional system; North Mitrovica, Zveçan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok.
Secretary General, informed Ambassador for the processes which have been developed so far in relation to the northern municipalities and in this context the Swiss Ambassador in Prishtina positively appreciate MALG commitment to its current achievements and promise the support of the Swiss Embassy for MLGA in the future.
