Based on the Municipal visits Plan for 2015, Ministry of Local Government Administration, on 12 March 2015 conducted the next visit to Municipality of Gjakova and the municipality of Rahovec, aiming to expand the cooperation and to have a better coordination of joint activities and to meet the obligations from European agenda. Special emphasis during the visit was given, addressing the obligations that deriving from the European agenda, obligations which are included within the Dialogue of SAP (SAPD), Action Plan for the Stabilisation and Association Process (APSAP), Progress Report and Roadmap for Visa liberalization. 16 march 2015
Based on the Municipal visits Plan for 2015, Ministry of Local Government Administration, on 12 March 2015 conducted the next visit to Municipality of Gjakova and the municipality of Rahovec, aiming to expand the cooperation and to have a better coordination of joint activities and to meet the obligations from European agenda. Special emphasis during the visit was given, addressing the obligations that deriving from the European agenda, obligations which are included within the Dialogue of SAP (SAPD), Action Plan for the Stabilisation and Association Process (APSAP), Progress Report and Roadmap for Visa liberalization.
The first visit was conducted in the Municipality of Gjakova, where MLGA team was recived by the Mayor of Municipality of Gjakova Mrs. Mimoza Kusari – Lila and directors of municipal departments, MALG-s team was headed by Ms. Rozafa Ukimeraj, Head of Department for European Integration and Policy Coordination, as well as other officials from the same department.
During the meeting in the Municipality of Gjakova, there were presented the findings of the 2014 report, the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjakova confirmed the completion of almost all the obligations deriving from the recommendations of the report.
Also, mayors and directors of relevant departments, gave their contribution and discussed about the SAA plan for the municipality, for 2015.
The second visit was conducted in the Municipality of Rahovec, where also in this meeting MALG team was greeted by Mayor Mr. Idriz Vehapi, Deputy Mayor and directors of departments in the municipality. During the meeting it was presented the annual report for the APSAP -in municipal and findings for municipality of Rahovec for 2014; and challenges arising from the Progress Report for Kosovo (2014) and municipal obligations.
Senior officials of the Municipality of Gjakova and Rahovec, as well as the representatives of MALG jointly agreed on the final version of the Municipal Plan for the SAA for 2015. Also, at the end of the meeting it was re-confirmed the continuation of commitment and cooperation to meet the obligations from common European agenda.
