The Ministry of Local Government Administration/MLGA, respectively the Department for Municipal Performance and Transparency, in cooperation with OSCE has organised a two-day workshop on indicators of transparency.
Ms. Nazmije Krasniqi, Head of Division for Municipal Transparency has presented before the attendees the activities of the Ministry of Local Government Administration and legal obligations required by municipalities in the area of transparency.
Meanwhile, Mr. Isuf Zeneli, Head of Division for Municipal Performance has presented transparency indicators and their measurement in pilot municipalities.
On this occasion, the municipal officials had the opportunity to get closely acquainted to the indicators in the areas of transparency and their measurement methodology. It was also discussed about the difficulties and challenges that municipalities are facing regarding the publication of documents on the official websites of municipalities.
The workshop was attended by municipal information officials and representatives of MLGA.
