Minister of MLGA Adrijana Hodžić participates at the final conference of the project “Economically sustainable woman/independent woman” organized by NGO NVO “Community Development Institute“- CoDe.
Hodžić: “How to contribute to a more significant participation of women in the economy, and thus the economic development of the country is certainly a question that requires further engagement of institutions and the civil sector, in order that women’s entrepreneurship does not remain an important unused source.
This multiethnic association should serve as an example for many, not only for women but also for men in Kosovo. Because by working together with joint forces, we could create better conditions, for building a future that aims the coexistence and creating better conditions and standards.
At the end the Minister Hodžić emphasized her full support for women in business and investing in women entrepreneurs should be one of the most important goals of the country’s economy.
The project “Economically sustainable woman/independent woman” aims to support the establishment and promotion of functional multi-ethnic women association on municipalities of Novoberde, Ranilug and Kamenice, to build up their capacities and connect women with major businesses in Kosovo and in the region. The direct beneficiaries of this project are women, as well as the civil society organizations that deal with women issues within the territory of the abovementioned municipalities.
