MLGA Minister Mrs. Emilia Redžepi has officially announced that on May 27, 2020, the implementation of the Youth Inclusion Project will commence, a project which reaches the amount of 2.7 million dollars and is supported by the Japanese Government through the World Bank.
Also, Minister Redžepi informed that the Ministry of Local Government Administration has made all the necessary preparations for the commencement of the project, which aims to improve the socio-economic inclusion of at least 3000 young people, not included (ages 15-29) in more marginalized communities in Kosovo through: increasing soft skills and voluntary opportunities, increasing community initiatives encouraged by young people and increasing access to youth community infrastructure and services.
This project will be implemented in 10 municipalities, where 150 small initiatives and projects will be funded, in a total amount of $ 1.07 million.
Hence, Minister Redžepi thanked the MLGA staff for the commitment and professionalism shown during the period of project design which lasted for more than 3 years.
