MLGA Minister Mrs. Emilija Redžepi hosted in three separate meetings the Mayors of the Municipalities: Peja, Prizren, Mitrovica, Mamusha, Dragash, Drenas, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Shtime, Klina and Viti.
In these meetings, the Minister and the Mayors discussed about the current situation in the municipalities, the economic measures and the possibility of getting donor support after the pandemic situation.
Additionally, in the meeting it was discussed also the work of the municipal emergency units in relation to the pandemic, the municipal budget expenditures and municipal support for members of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
The Minister of MLGA has ensured the Mayors of the municipalities that they will have the MLGA and the Government support to address their requests regarding the fulfillment of their obligations within the areas of municipal competencies in terms of financial support for the purpose of economic recovery.
Minister Redžepi will continue the meetings with the Mayors of the remaining Municipalities during next week.
