Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Goran Rakić met today with Ambassador Jan Braathu, Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, hence he confirmed the continuation of the cooperation for which they had established a good basis in the previous period.
During the meeting, Minister Rakić and Ambassador Braathu discussed the joint strategic plan of MLSW and OSCE, the activities especially in the field of law enforcement, gender equality, youth and their employment, building a democratic society and cooperation with non-governmental organizations.
They also discussed about the ongoing attacks on Serbian property and families.
Any attack, regardless of which community it is about, must be publicly condemned by international organizations and institutions, while the authorities must find out. ‘Thank you very much Ambassador Braathu and OSCE mission, who are constantly doing so, “Rakić said.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister thanked the Ambassador for monitoring the election process, which was organized as a regular process, as well as the measures taken to protect the staff involved in this process from the Coronavirus.
Ambassador Braathu congratulated Minister Rakić on his new positions and emphasized the willingness of the OSCE mission to provide support and assistance in the coming period.
