Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government, Goran Rakić welcomed today the Head of the EU Office / EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Tomáš Szunyog.
After welcoming him and wishing him a successful upcoming mandate, Minister Rakić introduced the ambassador to the competencies of the ministry, the work plan as well as the activities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing the negotiations as well as the implementation of everything agreed.
The conversation further developed around the current situation in Kosovo, the pandemics and the economic recovery after the pandemics.
The Minister also informed the Special Representative about the situation in the municipalities, the provision of municipal services as well as the daily challenges of the local population.
The Head of the EU Office in Kosovo / Special Representative Tomáš Szunyog has confirmed future assistance and support at both central and local levels.
