The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government, Mr. Goran Rakić, together with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Mr. Nicholas Abbott, visited North Mitrovica and met with the new leadership of this municipality led by the Mayor Mr. Milan Radojević.
In the meeting also attended the mayors of the municipalities of Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic, and the deputy mayor of North Mitrovica, Adrijana Hodžić.
The meeting focused on current political issues, future projects, youth employment and recovery from the pandemic.
The interlocutors share the same opinion that in the future, cooperation should be improved for the sake of a better quality of life for citizens, both in the municipalities in the north and in all municipalities throughout Kosovo.
