FINANCING CAPITAL PROJECTS OF MUNICIPALITIES FOR 2021
MUNICIPAL PROGRAM FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AND INTER-MUNICIPAL COOPERATION

Distinguished representatives of the media and civil society,
The Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), based on the legal mandate for the advancement of local government in Kosovo, with a focus on increasing the efficiency of providing services as close as possible to the citizens, has launched a fund for financial support for municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo for the implementation of socio-economic infrastructure projects which have a direct impact on improving the living conditions of citizens.
This fund is part of the MLGA budget and under which are foreseen the criteria for financing capital projects in municipalities. Also, the MLGA has established the Evaluation Commission which is responsible for handling and reviewing the requests of the municipalities, as well as the preparation of the evaluation report based on the foreseen criteria.
The call for application was announced on February 25, 2021, while the deadline for application was March 5, 2021.
Therefore, in order to strengthen the cooperation and increase transparency, we invite you to participate in monitoring the evaluation of projects for municipalities. The meeting will be held on 30.03.2021, time 09:00, in the former Rilindja building, 13th floor, meeting room 1331.
