The parties discussed about the important role that ALDA has in promoting good governance and citizen participation at the local level throughout Europe and beyond. Mr. Krasniqi, presented the priorities of MLGA where he emphasized that the support of ALDA in the processes of local digitalization, promotion of transparency and procurement will be more than welcome. Possibilities for cooperation as well as exchange of experiences about the role of local officials in the European Integration process were also discussed.
Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in this journey in order to promote local democracy and sustainable development, through the expertise of ALDA in more than 45 countries.
