Legislative Reform, Municipal Performance Grant, Cross-Border Cooperation and other topics related to local government and IPA funds were the key topics of the meeting between the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi and the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Ambassador Tomáš Szunyog.
Minister Krasniqi and Ambassador Szunyog discussed the ongoing EU support and initiatives of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, in particular in the context of the new Municipal Performance Grant Program, as well as the implementation of cross-border cooperation programs.
The interlocutors also agreed to coordinate further more on current and future legislative reform which affects local government.
