Minister of Local Government Administration Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, together with the Minister of Finance Mr. Hekuran Murati and the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure hosted in a meeting the representatives of UN-Habitat, to discuss the joint programs 2022-2025 between the line ministries and UN-Habitat.
This program aims to finance the projects in municipalities based on the needs and ideas that arise from citizens, communities, local communities etc. Additionally the program will have a special focus on the inter-municipal cooperation and the green agenda.
The program is co-financed from MLGA, MESPI and UN-HABITAT and it is foreseen to have an amount of over 15 million euros for the next 4 years while not including the technical assistance.
