Today, Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi received in a meeting the Vice President of the European Parliament, Mr. Rainer Wieland.
Minister Krasniqi welcomed Mr. Wieland to Prishtina and thanked him for the warm hospitality of Mr. Wieland during Mr. Krasniqi’s visit to Strasbourg.
In a meeting with Mr. Wieland, Minister Krasniqi reiterated the commitment of Kosovo Municipalities in fulfilling the reforms within the European Reform Agenda (ERA II). They also talked about Kosovo’s support for its membership in EU regional initiatives as well as new initiatives that enable the connection of Kosovo cities and citizens with those of the EU for the purpose of economic prosperity in the spirit of unity, tolerance and constructive dialogue between communities.
