The Ministry of Local Government Administration held today the International Inter-municipal Cooperation Conference between the Republic of Kosovo and the State of IOWA.
During the conference it was discussed about the international inter-municipal cooperation agreements reached with the state of IOWA, the successes and challenges during their implementation, as well as future projects for the expansion of cooperation through new twinning.
In the conference there were present: Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Redžepi, Minister of Defense Armed Mehaj, Minister of Trade and Industry Rozeta Hajdari, Retired Major General Tim Orr, Secretary of MLGA Venera Çerkini, Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina Perparim Rama, Mayor of the Municipality of Peja Gazmend Muhaxheri and Mayor of the Municipality of Vushtri Ferit Idrizi. Whereas, there were also participants from the State of IOWA such as: Mayor of the Municipality of Johnston, Paula Dierenfeld as well as participants from Johnson City, Norwalk, Des Moines and other cities.
