As part of the 92nd meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, held on 10.08.2022, four items from the Ministry of Local Government Administration were on the agenda, which were reviewed and approved, as follows:

Are approved;

– Draft Administrative Instruction (GRK) for the Establishment and Operation of the Child’s Rights Team – this draft AI will define the procedures for the composition and operation of the Child’s Rights Team in the implementation of the mandate as defined by the Law on Child Protection within the territorial competences of the municipalities;

– Approval of 7 projects from the “Municipal Program for the development of socio-economic infrastructure and inter-municipal cooperation”, in the amount of €1,080,768.

– The decision to withdraw from the privatization process and return the properties administered by the Kosovo Privatization Agency, since this process has not produced legal effects and the process of transferring the properties of the KPA to the municipalities has not been completed. This decision does not close the way of realizing the possibility of returning properties in the interest of the municipalities, since the municipalities can realize it through the process of expropriation.

After the meeting of the government in the joint media conference, the Minister Elbert Krasniqi together with the Minister of Economy Artane Rzivanolli answered the questions addressed by the media representatives regarding the items on the agenda of the government meeting.
