The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, received in a meeting the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mr. Rainer Wieland who was accompanied by the Mayor of Gerlingen Mr. Dirk Oestringer, the Chairman of the CDU parliamentary group, Mr. Oliver Nauth, Director of Lehnhoff Hartstahl GmbH, Baden-Baden, Mr. Michael König, and the lecturer Mr. Johannes Blum.
Initially, Minister Krasniqi welcomed the Vice-President Wieland, while thanking him for the continuous support for the Republic of Kosovo.
During this meeting Minister Krasniqi, informed the Vice-President Wieland and the members of the delegation, about the MLGA initiatives for increasing the municipal transparency and accountability, the inter-municipal and cross-border projects as well as the priorities for the implementation of the European agenda.
On the other hand, the Vice-President Wieland has reiterated its support for the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, while mentioning some of the concrete possibilities for cooperation with the local level.
