On 6 and 7 May 2019 in Berane and Plav of Montenegro were held the first monitoring visits for the projects funded under 1st Call for Proposal within IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro – Kosovo 2014-2020 funded by the European Union.
The Joint Technical Secretariat, along with the operational structures of the program: the Office for European Integration at the Office of the Prime Minister of Montenegro and the Ministry of Local Government Administration of the Republic of Kosovo on 6 May 2019 were on a monitoring visit to the city of Berane in Montenegro, where they were closely informed about the start of the project “Accursed mountains – exquisite outdoor destination” implemented by the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije of Montenegro, Plavë Tourist Organization, Regional Development Agency – West (RDA West) and the Municipality of Peja.
On May 7, 2019, monitoring team visited Plave town whereby the project “Cross border joint initiatives for better waste management” project implemented by the Utility company Plave in Montenegro and RWC “Çabrati” from Gjakova.
Monitoring visits were conducted by Sanja Todorović, Head of the Joint Technical Secretariat, Gazmir Raci, Antenna Project Officer in Prishtina, Fatmire Berisha, CBC coordiantor at MLGA, Makfire Rrustolli from MLGA Control body, and Petar Belada from JTS.
