Mrs. Luljeta Ibishi Ferizi, Deputy in the Division for the Advancement of Human Rights in Municipalities, participated in the five-day workshop organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and supported by the Council of Europe Office in Pristina and the OSCE as part of the project “Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings”.

Given the comparison of data from different state institutions and NGOs, concerns have been raised regarding data protection, especially when personal data are included, therefore international standards have been set by applicable law, with regards to data collection, archive, transfer, compilation and distribution.

On this occasion, members of the National Authority Against Trafficking in Human Beings and representatives of other responsible institutions, completed the first draft of the development of the Database and the drafting of protocols, as well as instructions for the database for the protection of Victims of Trafficking.
