MLGA officials, Mrs. Vjollce Jashanica, Deputy Head of the Public Communication Division, Mrs. Blerta Halimi, Head of the Division for Inter-Municipal Cooperation, Mrs. Fatmire Berisha, Deputy Head of the Cross-Border Cooperation Division and Coordination Office for Cross-Border Cooperation, Mrs. Ganimete Salihu, Head of the Division for Advancement of Municipal Capacities and Reforms and Mrs. Luljeta Ibishi – Ferizi, Deputy Head of the Division for the Advancement of Human Rights in Municipalities, participated in the online training “Public Communication for Women in Government” organized by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo.
The purpose of this training is for government officials to gain knowledge on public communication, with an emphasis on social media platforms, so that women in government can increase their professional capacity.
During this training were introduced digital communication skills, including audience definition, internal and external communication skills, as well as different communication techniques based on the target group and audience characteristics, technical aspects of communication through social media, differences in communication through various social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram); Communication crisis – reactive versus proactive communication; as well as Managing hate speech and sexism on social platforms.
