Based on the agenda for amendment-supplement of bylaws, the Working Group held the meeting for amending-supplementing the Administrative Instruction No. 2010/03 on the procedure for termination of the mandate of the mayor of municipality.
The Chairman of the Working Group Mr. Driton Xhafa opened the meeting, and informed that the meeting is coordinated with the AKM – the Collegium of Legal Officials, supported by OSCE. The purpose of the meeting is to provide comments, proposals to the AI from the local level respectively from the legal officials, because they implement this in practice.
The recommendation of all the participating stakeholders, was that the abovementioned AI to be either suspended or removed from the legislative agenda entirely, since on the same time it is being amended-supplemented the Law on Local Self-government, and therefore all the professional energies should be focused on the Law.
