Workshop for the amending-supplementing of the sub-legal act no. 2010/03 of MLGA

Based on the agenda for amending-supplementing the sub-legal acts of the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), a one-day workshop is held for the amending-supplementing the Administrative 2010/03 on the procedure of termination of the mandate of the mayor of the municipality.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Working Group Mr. Driton Xhafa, who informed the participants that the purpose of the Administrative Instruction on the procedure of termination of the mandate of the mayor of the municipality, is to define the procedure of replacing the mayor of the municipality in cases when the mandate ends prematurely.

The provision of this AI are obligatory for cases when the mandate of the mayor is terminated, whether suspended, dismissed or removed from office.

The organization of the one-day workshop for the finalization of the Administrative Instruction on the procedure of termination of the mandate of the mayor of the municipality was supported by OSCE.
