Today, the 1st Call for project proposals under the IPA III CBC Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2021-2027 was published. The deadline for submitting concept notes is October 25, 2024.
The Call is open to local governments represented in the programme area, local and regional development organisations/agencies, national authorities and institutions overseeing tourism, environmental, cultural policies, business associations, business support organisations, self-employment promotion institutions, chambers of commerce and crafts, civil society organisations (CSOs), cooperatives/associations of farmers, development organisations/agencies, educational, science and research institutions and organisations and institutions and organisations responsible for providing social services.
As part of this call, projects worth up to 400,000 euros will be supported that aim to increase cross-border employment of youth and vulnerable people, as well as projects worth up to 600,000 euros aimed at boosting sustainable tourism in the cross-border region. The duration of projects is limited to 26 months for projects in the field of employment, and for projects in the field of tourism 30months, while the total budget of this call is 5.4 million euros, of which up to 85% of the funds are provided by the EU.
The programme area in Montenegro includes the municipalities: Andrijevica, Bar, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Gusinje, Kolashin, Mojkovac, Petnjica, Plav, Podgorica, Rozhaje, Tuz, Ulqin and Zeta. In Kosova the programme area includes: Pejë, Istog, Klina, Junik, Deçan and Gjakovë.
