Minister Krasniqi mentioned the challenges of the municipalities in dealing with Covid-19 pandemic, in the presentation of the report “Socio-economic impact of Covid-19 in the municipalities and businesses of Kosovo”
The Ministry of Local Government Administration while seeing the needs and the requests of the municipalities in dealing with Covid-19 pandemic, has drafted the report “Socio-economic impact of Covid-19 in the municipalities and businesses of Kosovo”, in cooperation with UN-Habitat.
Minister Krasniqi, during this roundtable highlighted that this report is part of the strategic operation plan of MLGA, while aiming to provide support to municipalities in dealing with Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, Minister Krasniqi emphasized that through this report are identified and addressed the challenges of municipalities in dealing with Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, based on these findings, municipalities are encouraged to draft local economy recovery plans based on the guideline drafted by MLGA.
In addition to MLGA representatives, in this meeting participated also mayors of municipalities, representatives of municipalities, inter-institutional stakeholders and representatives of international organizations.
