Part of the team of MLGA professional translators are: Nderim Krusha, Muhamed Çuni, Mahije Ferataj, Yllka Sutaj and Aferdita Marmullaku, who have continued their work in translating the numerous documents of the Ministry and Government. Despite the public health emergency, they were committed and continued to work from home, by professionally translating in real time all documents, notices, information, reports and various agreements which have been drafted during this time, in order to inform the municipalities and citizens about the government measures taken in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, to also ensure compliance with the legislation on official languages and for the regular work pertaining to the mandate of MLGA.
As a result of their professional work and commitment, some time ago, the Ministry of Local Government Administration was elected the winner of the first prize for best practice in implementing the Law on the Use of Languages, an award which was given by the Office of the Commissioner for Languages in the Office of the Prime Minister and the OSCE Mission to Kosovo.
