Ministry of Local Government Administration, supported by DEMOS project, has held the meeting with the municipal coordinators for municipal performance, civil society representatives from GAP and BIRN, as well as representatives of Kosovo Pedagogical Institute, in order to validate the proposals for reviewing the Municipal Performance Management System.
In the meeting it is discussed about the proposals arisen in concluding the review process of this system, while focusing on the existing municipal performance indicators, with particular emphasis on new areas such as: pre-university education, primary health services, local economic development and gender equality.
The meeting will also continue in order to finalize the list of proposed indicators for the grant performance, in order to present the challenges so far regarding the accuracy of the data reported from municipalities, as well as the future data verification methodology.
