The Ministry of Local Government Administration, in cooperation with the USAID Transparent, Effective and Accountable Municipality (USAID TEAM) Project, held a roundtable on “Transparency in Local Government” with the Directors and Municipal Officials of information offices.
The purpose of the roundtable was to exchange experiences and good practices, to discuss the challenges and recommendations for increasing local transparency, such as the Introduction of the Standard Action Procedure for publication on the Municipal website, the process of developing Municipal Communication Strategies for the activity of USAID for Municipalities, as part of the Transparent, Effective and Accountable (TEAM) Project, as well as the challenges and results during the process of monitoring the official websites of the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo by the MLGA.
