EU TASCO and the Government of Kosovo have today presented the DG NEAR Directive on EU support for Civil Society in the Western Balkans and Turkey for the period 2021-2027. During this meeting, it was explained what EU support for civil society in the region aims to achieve in partnership with national authorities, including:
– Creating an environment for civil society to carry out its activities;
– Strengthening cooperation and partnership between CSOs and public institutions, and
– The capacities and sustainability of CSOs for the effective realization of their activities, which have been strengthened.
