The Joint Technical Secretariat of the Cross-border Cooperation Programmes Montenegro – Albania and Montenegro – Kosovo 2014-2020, in cooperation with Operating Structures of the Programme, the European Integration Office of Montenegro, Ministry of Finance of Montenegro – Directorate for Finance and Contracting of the EU Assistance Funds (CFCU) and Ministry of Local Government Administration of the Republic of Kosovo organized the Info Days and Partner Search Forums.
As part of preparation activities before the publication of the 2nd Call for Proposals within IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo, these events were organized in Peja (Kosovo) on 27 December 2018 and in Podgorica (Montenegro) on 11 January 2019. The Info Days and Partner Search Forums were attended by 81 participants, representing municipalities, non-governmental organizations, educational and other institutions from both countries.
The aim of the events was to inform the participants about the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Kosovo 2014-2020, the principles of cross-border partnership and the overall content of the Application package. Moreover, the participants took part in thematic workshops of particular interest to them, which enabled them to share project ideas, identify possible partners, exchange contact details and create basic foundation for a future possible partnership with potential applicants form the other side of the border.
