Representatives from MLGA participated in the roundtable organized by the Women Leadership Academy (WLA), a program implemented by NDI with the support of USAID, regarding the theme “Women involvement in the budget process at local level”.
In this roundtable it was discussed about the women involvement in the budget process, as well as planning of the municipal budget regarding their needs and priories.
From the MLGA representatives were presented the achievements regarding the position of the women in the respective ministry and the municipalities of Kosovo from 2017-2019. In the MLGA it is achieved the women representation in decision making with 50%, whereas in municipalities the women representation in decision making is achieved about 24.86%.
