MLGA representatives together with JTS representatives have carried out the third monitoring visit to the project “CARES 2 – Cross-border actions in the Reproductive Health Sector 2”, implemented by the Fund for the Development of the North of Montenegro – (FORS) together with the European Center for Minority Affairs (ECMI) in Kosovo under the CBC program Montenegro – Kosovo.
The project has influenced the improvement of the general health and well-being of the population through the improvement of reproductive health, the improvement of the quality of health services, the program for pregnancy, increasing awareness of the importance of regular preventive checks and creating the habit of prevention, as well as cross-border cooperation in the target areas of the project: Peja, Istog, Klina, Decan and Gjakova, as well as in Montenegro in the municipalities of Andrijevica, Tivar, Beran, Bijelo Polje, Guci, Petnjica, Plava, Kollashin, Mojkovac, Rozhaja, Podgorica and Ulcinj.
The project ends on 31.10.2023. After completion, health institutions in 4 municipalities in Montenegro and 5 municipalities in Kosovo will benefit from medical equipment.
