On September 25 and 26 2018 in MLGA, it is held the third meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee for the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Kosovo (2014-2020).
Members of the Joint Monitoring Committee of both countries on the first day of the meeting have approved the list of seven selected projects from the first call for project-proposals which will be financed by European Commission funds – IPA II.
The total amount of the selected projects, divided into three priorities defined in the call for project-proposal, is 1,976,011.09 €:
-Promoting employment, labor mobility and social and cultural inclusion across borders;
-Protecting the environment and promoting climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management through, and
-Encouraging tourism and cultural and natural heritage.
Total amount of the project for first priority from which have been selected three beneficiaries is 673,469.72 €. Within the second priority have been selected two beneficiaries. The total amount of the projects for this priority is 564,320.57 €, whereas the total amount of the projects for the third priority from which have been selected two beneficiaries is 738,220.80 €.
Whereas on the second day of the meeting, the members of the Joint Monitoring Committee for the second call for proposals which is expected to be announced during November of this year have decided about the priorities below:
-Promoting employment, labor mobility and social and cultural inclusion across borders;
-Encouraging tourism and cultural and natural heritage.
