On December 04, 2019, under the organization of the NGO Democracy Plus”, representatives from the Ministry of Local Government Administration participated in a roundtable on “Progress in Good Local Governance” about the topics: Open and Transparent Municipalities and Promoting Municipal Performance, where they have discussed the achievements and challenges of open municipal governance compared to the fulfillment of electoral commitments -2 years after.
In the meeting participated: Mayors of municipalities, Chiefs of cabinet, Chairmen of Assemblies, Information Officers and Finance Directors of the municipalities: Pristina, Prizren, Ferizaj, Peja, Gjakova, Gjilan and Mitrovica. Additionally, the MLGA’s commitment to the allocation of municipal performance grants and efforts to join this grant scheme by other donors were also appreciated.
