The workshop of the inter-ministerial group is held to finalize the feasibility study for local government. This is the II^nd phase which will give alternatives for the development and advancement of local government. This phase has included the three working groups: 1. Organization and competences of municipalities; 2. Cooperation and local democracy; and 3. Finances of local government.

As part of the inter-ministerial group participated representatives from: MLGA, MRD, municipalities, DEMOS project and civil society.

After finalizing this process, the document as a whole will be proceeded further to the Government bodies, and the program of medium and long-term orientations for the system of local self-government will be drafted, which will reflect what will be the orientation of the local government in the future in Kosovo.
