The third meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Montenegro – Kosovo Cross-Border Cooperation Programme (2021-2027), financed by the EU’s IPA III funds, was held in Montenegro.
During the meeting, the list of projects to be financed under the First Call for Project Proposals was approved, with a total value of around 5.4 million euros.
The selected projects will begin implementation after the conclusion of the contracting process and will focus on increasing cross-border employment of young people and vulnerable groups, as well as on developing sustainable tourism in the Montenegro – Kosovo cross-border region.
These investments aim to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, promote sustainable economic and social development, and create new opportunities for citizens and communities on both sides of the border.
