The third meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme
Albania – Kosovo 2021-2027, financed by the European Union’s Instrument for Pre-Accession
Assistance (IPA III), was held in Prizren.
During the meeting, the list of projects to be financed under the First Call for Project Proposals was
approved, with a total value of around 4.78 million euros.
The selected projects will begin implementation after the conclusion of the contracting process and
will contribute to environmental protection, climate change adaptation and risk management, as
well as to the development of tourism and the promotion of natural and cultural heritage in the
Albania – Kosovo cross-border region.
These investments aim to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, promote sustainable
economic, social and territorial development, and create new opportunities for citizens and
communities on both sides of the border.
