MLGA, in cooperation with the DEMOS project, held a one-day workshop with municipal performance coordinators

The Ministry of Local Government Administration, in cooperation with the DEMOS project, held a one-day workshop with municipal performance coordinators. The workshop focused on reviewing and updating the indicators of the Municipal Performance Management System (MPMS).

The objective of the workshop was to conduct a final review of the draft MPMS indicators, discuss comments and suggestions from the coordinators, harmonize proposals for further improving the indicators, and examine all proposals, comments, and recommendations provided by relevant institutions.

During the workshop, the municipal performance coordinators reviewed the MPMS indicators, discussed findings and recommendations identified throughout the revision process, and explored opportunities for their improvement.

The discussions focused on three indicators proposed by other institutions, for which there was full agreement among the municipal performance coordinators. The workshop also served to validate these proposals by refining the wording of the indicators and reviewing data requirements, with the aim of enhancing their clarity and practical applicability.

This was the final workshop in the comprehensive review process of the Municipal Performance Management System (MPMS). During this session, the list of revised indicators to be included in the Municipal Performance Management System was also finalized.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Mr. Haxhi Krasniqi, a representative from the Department for Monitoring and Local Performance, delivered closing remarks, acknowledging the commitment and contribution of all municipalities and other stakeholders who participated in the comprehensive review process of the MPMS.
