It is held the joint meeting between the representatives of the Legal Department and Monitoring of Municipalities of MLGA and the Women Leadership Academy, as part of the NDI, regarding “MLGA influence in the general gender budget, the role of women participation in the increase and transparency of municipal budget”.
The Director of LDMM Mrs. Venera Çerkini informed the participants that the municipalities have received the necessary instructions from MLGA regarding the implementation of the Law on Gender Equality, including the general gender budgeting, gender integration perspective in processes and budget documents, as well as analyzing the influences that the potential different planned expenses and allocated sources have in men and women.
