The Project Management Unit of the “Municipalities for Youth” in Kosovo project had the pleasure to be welcomed today by the Ambassador of Japan in Kosovo Mr. Mitsunori OGASAWARA. Advances in the implementation of the project, and planned activities were widely discussed, as well as plans for the project launching ceremony, on which occasion Ambassador Mitsunori OGASAWARA expressed the readiness of the Japanese Embassy to continue supporting the community in Kosovo, especially the youth.
The project will be implemented in ten municipalities of Kosovo in order to improve the socioeconomic inclusion of at least 3,000 marginalized youth aged 15 – 24 in vulnerable communities in Kosovo through youth-driven civic engagement and skills building activities.
The project is funded by the Government of Japan through support received under the Japan Social Development Fund, administered by the World Bank, and will be implemented by the Ministry of Local Government Administration.
