Mrs. Luljeta Ibishi Ferizi, Deputy Head of the Division for Advancement of Human Rights in Municipalities, participated in the panel organized by Advancing Together (AT), a partner organization of UNHCER, with the theme “Displaced persons and returners – access to human rights”.
The purpose of the meeting was to address the identified issues such as access to services and rights, and the functioning of mechanisms for the promotion and protection of human rights in Kosovo, from which concrete recommendations emerged for the relevant institutions to address them.
Part of the panel were also the Ombudsperson Institution, Office for Good Governance/Prime Minister’s Office, Consultative Council for Communities/President’s Office, Ministry for Communities and Return, the Free Legal Aid Agency, Center for Labor and Social Welfare, Municipal Office for Communities and Return, as well as local NGOs (Jahjaga Foundation, RROGRAEK and AKTIV), as well as representatives of the returned and displaced community.
