The Ministry of Local Government Administration in coordination and cooperation with key stakeholders MARD, KFVA, AKM, Foundation for animal rights, and representatives of the municipality of Prishtina, have held the first meeting of the Working Group for “Drafting policies, identification of issues, options for the approach towards stray dogs.
The meeting was opened by the chairperson of the group Mrs. Flutura Hoxha, who informed the members of the group for the efforts and concrete steps of the Government: approach, methodology, coordination and cooperation with the ministry, agency, association and foundation for the animal rights, for the actions that will be undertaken and the concrete measures that will be proposed for the finalization of the analysis.
The working group in accordance with the mandate and in accordance with the deadline will come up with proposals and recommendations for this analysis.
