Minister of MLGA Elbert Krasniqi met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Gucia Mrs. Anella Çekiq, the President of the Municipal Assembly Mr. Bujar Hasangjekaj and the staff of the Project “Cultural heritage-a treasure of cross-border region” implemented by the Municipality of Peja and Gucia as part of the cross-border cooperation Kosovo-Montenegro.

During the meeting were discussed the challenges of local government, the possibilities of cooperation and the project implementation progress. The advancement of the cross-border cooperation is a priority of the ministry. This year has been announced the third call for application in amount of 3.24 million Euros for the joint projects Kosovo-Montenegro, and we are in the final phase of approving three CBC Programms 2021-2027 financed by EU in amount of 25 million under IPA 3.
