Today it is held the joint virtual meeting for the presentation of the situation report regarding COVID-19 pandemic for the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss with partners of the Ministry of Local Government and civil society organizations about the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the activities undertaken by municipalities for managing the pandemic situation. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ministers of MLG, Mrs. Magbule Shkodra and Mrs. Fatbardha Emini.
During the meeting was presented the situation report regarding COVID-19 pandemic for the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, which is divided into three parts: MLG activities coordinated between the central and local level about the pandemic situation, activities related to the legality of municipal assembly bodies during the pandemic, as well as the pandemic impact on the municipal finances.
As a conclusion from the meeting was that it is necessary that such reports be presented and provided to partners and civil society organizations, in order to exchange information and present it to the public.
