On 15 March 2016, the Ministry of Local Government Administration has visited the municipality of Novobërdë/Novo Brdo in order to better coordinate joint activities, deepen cooperation and fulfill the obligations derived from the European agenda.
MLGA’s officers were received by the Vice Mayor Mr. Siniša Dimić and other representatives of the municipality. The following issues were discussed in the meeting:
Reporting on the implementation of the Municipal Action Plan for the Stabilisation and Association Agreement for the period July – December 2015;
The obligations of the municipality of Novobërdë/Novo Brdo derived from the European agenda for 2016;
During the meeting, the Head of Division for European Integration Mr. Yll Valla has discussed about the lack of reporting of the municipality of Novobërdë/Novo Brdo for APSAA for the period from July to December 2015, as well as the importance of the reporting process in the context of fulfilling the obligations deriving the European agenda for 2016. The MLGA’s officers together with representatives of the municipality of Novobërdë/Novo Brdo agreed to fulfil the legal obligation in terms of reporting, i.e. submitting data and information for the period from July to December 2015 on the Municipal Action Plan for SAA within a deadline of 7 days.
